Practice Fusion in the News: Real World Evidence, ZIKA and more

Practice Fusion has been in the news lately, we’ve highlighted some of our recent coverage in a number of health publications.

Practice Fusion is honored to have been named one of the Global Digital Health 100 companies by The Journal of mHealth. The Global Digital Health is an international benchmark of industry activity for mobile, digital, and connected technologies in healthcare.

Richard Loomis, Practice Fusion’s Chief Medical Officer and VP of Informatics and the co-chair of the HIMSS Electronic Health Record Association’s (EHRA) Executive Committee wrote a featured article for Health System Management titled, “ How Disease Surveillance is a Critical Healthcare IT Tool for Physicians.” The article focuses in particular about disease surveillance for the ZIKA virus.

Dr. Loomis’ commentary was also featured in a ZIKA research article by HealthData Management, “ Fed agencies enlist EHRs in battle against Zika”, by Greg Slabodkin, November 15.
