New EHR Functionality: Drug Allergy Alerts

We’re excited to bring you a major new feature for your EHR account today: drug-drug and drug-allergy interaction alerts. It’s a frequently requested enhancement and also a big step towards Meaningful Use.

Drug Interaction Alerts
You will now be automatically alerted when a drug you are adding, prescribing or refilling interacts with another drug or with an allergy listed in the patient’s chart.

For the alerts to work properly, it’s important that patient allergies are recorded in detail. And our team is ready to answer any questions you have about these new alerts by live chat inside the EHR or email.

This release also includes a few updates based on your requests including a search tool for the forum. As always, your feedback drives our EHR system improvements. We love hearing from you!
