Introducing Practice Fusion EHR for tablet
Today we’re introducing Practice Fusion EHR for tablet, a streamlined version of your EHR optimized for your iPad so you can take your charts anywhere. No more beta sign-up — simply visit Practice Fusion.com from your tablet and log in with your Practice Fusion credentials.
The new tablet-ready version of your EHR is a result of our work to upgrade your EHR to faster, touch-optimized technology, while introducing across-the-board design and usability improvements. In the coming months, features added to the new EHR will be instantly available on your tablet. We’ll also be adding support for additional tablets, including Android. You’ll see new versions of messaging, e-Prescribing, documents, flow sheets, labs, and other features become available for your tablet throughout the summer and through the end of 2014.
With the new EHR for tablet, you can:
-
View your daily schedule and see every provider’s schedule
-
Chart patient visits with touch-based templating, new vital sign options, and clinical decision support notifications in the new encounter
-
Access all your patients and add new patients
-
Manage your EHR users and connect with labs, imaging centers, and ePrescribing from your new EHR dashboard.
EHR for tablet replaces our original EHR for iPad beta. The original iPad beta will still be available through May as we ensure that everyone using that version successfully transitions to the new version.
When you log in to EHR for tablet, you’ll also notice our new EHR dashboard and navigation. The dashboard will become the hub for your new EHR. From the dashboard tiles you can connect with new labs and imaging centers, quickly add new users to your practice and manage your existing users, access training videos, and import patients. In the coming months, we’ll add new tiles for quick access to your messages, upcoming appointments, outstanding tasks, and reporting dashboards.
