Letter from our co-founder: Product vision for 2015
With our new infrastructure in place, I am thrilled to announce our next major initiative for 2015: delivering dozens of the top community-requested features for you, our customers.
Features now live in the new EHR
Already this year, our team has built and released:
- Online intake forms for patients
- Multiple medication e-prescribing
- Recurring appointments
- Patient reporting by payer
- Brand new Meaningful Use and PQRS dashboards
These features and many more are all available now in the new EHR—if your practice has not yet been transitioned, be sure to sign up for a live training webinar and use our on-demand resources to prepare now.
New features coming in 2015
Even more exciting features are coming this year—our 2015 roadmap includes:
- Customizable clinical flowsheets
- Electronic ordering for LabCorp and Quest
- Rich-text formatting for chart notes
- Answering service integration
- ICD-10 upgrades with our billing partners
- e-Prescription delegation
- Enhanced task management
- And much more
In addition to these major features, we’ll also be optimizing clinical and front office workflows, speeding up every aspect of the EHR, reducing clicks wherever possible, and improving overall usability—all based on your recommendations and input.
Be sure to bookmark our product roadmap page, which will be updated with feature-specific timing. As always, we will provide in-product and email notifications with training materials for every new feature.
Your feedback drives our development
We have recently renovated the Product Ideas section of our Help Center so you can give feedback directly to our product team. Easily search to see if your product idea has already been requested—if it has, be sure to vote for it so we know it is important for your practice. The number of votes will directly impact how we prioritize new feature requests.
Easily submit new requests or provide additional input on how you’d like a feature to be shaped by leaving a comment—we will notify you via email on any updates to Product Ideas you have submitted, voted for or commented on.
I have personally read every single comment and request posted by our customers since we first launched our EHR in 2007 and I want to thank you for spending your valuable time helping us make Practice Fusion better. Our ongoing commitment is to provide the best EHR possible—a software you love to use, built with cutting-edge responsive technology so your practice can grow and thrive as healthcare evolves. Thank you for being a part of our community and we look forward to supporting you and your patients in the years to come.
