“Right now is an exciting time to be in healthcare,” said Dr. Loomis. “It’s largely unappreciated what the digitalization of medical records can mean for advancing medicine. We now have the ability to address some of the greatest challenges in care through health IT, and I’m honored to contribute to this work through our efforts at the EHRA.”

Dr. Loomis oversees health informatics, analytics and real-world evidence at Practice Fusion, and works closely with the company’s leadership team to provide pertinent guidance on clinical aspects of the company’s product offerings. Prior to joining the company, he led informatics at Kaiser Permanente in Southern California where his team focused on initiatives related to population health, analytics, and natural language processing.
