SAN FRANCISCO, CA, July 18, 2017 – Practice Fusion, the leading cloud-based electronic health record (EHR) platform, announced today that Richard Loomis, MD, Vice President and Chief Medical Officer at Practice Fusion, has been re-elected to serve as Vice Chair of the Executive Committee of the HIMSS Electronic Health Record Association (EHRA) for 2017-2018.

Prior to joining the company, he led informatics at Kaiser Permanente in Southern California where his team focused on initiatives related to population health, analytics, and natural language processing.
