Practice Fusion’s EMR Certification Roadmap
In late 2010, HHS will name multiple Authorized Testing and Certification Bodies (ATCBs) to certify Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems against the criteria listed below. Certification standards are designed to determine whether an EMR is suitable for Meaningful Use by eligible providers who wish to qualify for EMR incentive payments.
Practice Fusion plans to be one of the earliest HHS-certified EMR systems, thanks to of our highly adaptable web-based platform allowing for fast feature development and the work that our clinical team has done to anticipate the criteria. Any updates required for EMR certification will be made quickly and shared with our user community instantaneously online—saving you time and the headache of handling system upgrades.
