Position
Our company is looking for a Vice President of Operations who will plan, organize, direct and control the activities for Practice Fusion. This person will have responsibility for the customer experience and business processes at Practice Fusion - from determining what services to offer, to managing how services are built, to operating and supporting the service.
Responsibilities
- Excellent leadership and communication skills (mentoring, coaching, motivating)
- Create timely and accurate risk and management reporting systems;
- Serve as point person for all accounting and back office needs and requests;
- Communicate investment strategy and issues to senior management and executives
- Help develop performance measures for marketing initiatives as they relate to additional bookings, account performance and corporate objectives;
- Partner with Marketing to convert their programs and initiatives into sales tools and resources, aligning those tools to the sales process and create visibility into the metrics determining the level of success of the specific programs and initiatives.
- Establish and ensure sales technologies and systems support the Practice Fusion’s sales strategy and team, including but not limited to CRM, SF, pilot programs and sales collateral (proposals, lead management, etc.)
- Coach and develop team members to excel, recognizing, developing and rewarding top talent
Required Qualifications and Experience
- BA/BS required, and MBA, CFA or CCM/CTP credentials highly desired
- Experience running an online business essential
- Experience with lead generation, online advertising and conversion and experience in start-up growth trajectory, including mergers and acquisitions strategies as well as hands-on experience integrating disparate systems from independent companies, including HR, accounting, CRM systems, etc.
- Be able to transition operations and systems from one company to another, including: HR, CRM, and financial infrastructures and assets
- 8+ years defining and delivering products and service in SaaS or similar software driven recurring revenue
- A proven methodology and deep experience guiding a start-up through dramatic growth.
- A proven methodology of best practices for setting strategy and managing a product roadmap with a focus on internal, external, and non customers
- Experience managing product gross margins and incorporating ROI into product strategy
- Extensive go-to-market history for products, services and companies
- A thought leader in product management and strategy
- Self-motivated individual with ability to multitask in a fast paced environment and demonstrated abilities in prioritizing and managing multiple projects with minimal direction
- High degree of personal integrity and strong ability to work collaboratively and effectively in a fasts-paced, flexible and dynamic environment.
- Solid business judgment and acumen; analytical, problem solving and modeling skills required
- 10+ years experience working with technology programs, back office platforms, finance/accounting systems, and customer service management tools
- 5-10 years experience successfully managing remote teams (multiple national locations)
- 10+ years of senior executive experience building and leading large engineering and services teams
- Ability to drive operational improvements across the entire organization through process and IT design
- Excellent strategic planning and organizational skills with a hands-on execution oriented style
- Excellent analytical, verbal and written communication skills are a must
