About the Senior Software Engineer position:
We are looking for a self-motivated, challenge-seeking Senior Software Engineer to join our growing team. You will work with professionals who are dedicated to building products that doctors and health practitioners love. Apply your technical expertise to build and ship software used daily to manage over 65,000 patient visits.
As a principle engineer you will be responsible for planning, designing, implementing, and supporting our EMR, Personal Health Record, external system integrations, and our own APIs that enable a growing developer community to build new and exciting add-ons to our existing core functionality framework. About you:
- Experience on a team of 10+ engineers
- Experience in an Agile/Scrum environment that ships often and iterates continuously
- Serious attention to detail working against light requirements
- Unit testing should be a major part of your engineering instincts
- Experience working in a fast-paced, demanding environment (preferably at a startup)
5+ years of experience with the following:
- Web Services: WCF, SOAP, REST
- C# and ASP.NET, up to .NET 3.5
- XML/XLST/XSD
- MS SQL Server creation and maintenance: tables, stored procedures, views, indexes, triggers
1+ years of experience with the following:
- LINQ to SQL, LINQ to XML, Entity Framework
- Generics, Lambda Expressions, Anonymous Types
- Subversion or similar repository
- Hudson (or similar continuous build systems)
- Working in a SCRUM environment
It’d be bonus if you also have experience with:
- MVC
- HL7
- Biztalk
- 3rd Party integration via Web Services, EDI, FTP, WebDav, etc.
- Mobile development experience: Blackberry / Droid / Windows Mobile / iOS
- Test-Driven Development
- Localization
