Job Description
We are looking for a scrum master who is an organizational super genius. This is a pivotal position for our Engineering and Product Development teams, so you’ll have to anticipate, coordinate and juggle in true Scrum Master style. Practice Fusion has been a Scrum shop for five years, so we know the drill. The teams are looking forward to adding this key hire as we continue our very rapid growth. Responsibilities
- Understand and coordinate of all development projects
- Cost out development tasks & estimates
- Build resource timelines/budget out resources for each sprint
- Negotiate costs/expectations between Engineering & Product Management
- Assist VP of Product Development in building sprints
- Organize & hold standup/standing meetings
- Validate/review test plans from QA
- Supervise and control incoming Scrum/sprint backlog items & tasks, IT/support backlog items & tasks, lab integration timelines/deliverables
Qualifications
- Experience on a team of 10+ engineers
- 3+ years Project Coordination in a software environment
- Recent (last 1-2 years) In-the-trenches roadblock clearing
- Start-up experience managing projects
- Software knowledge to manage the process (we use VersionOne, but any tool will do)
- Adept at communicating across multiple departments and with many internal stakeholders
Bonus Qualifications
- C#/VB.Net
- Subversion: branching, merging and tagging
- Certified SCRUM Master
- 3+ years Team Development experience (writing code)
