Salesforce Software Engineer
Practice Fusion, the fastest growing electronic health record (EHR) community in the country, is looking for an enthusiastic member to join our engineering team. Practice Fusion is an exciting start-up based in San Francisco and backed by Salesforce.com and significant venture capital. We’re working on switching every doctor in the country from paper charts to computerized systems; cutting healthcare costs and saving lives along the way.
Position
Self-motivated software engineer to develop and maintain cutting-edge Business-to-Consumer Force.com application as well as internal CRM system. An ideal candidate will have a solid development background, experience implementing Apex, VisualForce, Web Services, and CRM configuration. Candidate will be eager to hit the ground running with minimal direction and deliver quality work on time.
Responsibilities
- Extend and maintain Force.com application using Apex, Web Services, and VisualForce.
- Participate in group scrum / sprint development cycles and code reviews
- Gather and analyze user requirements for CRM implementation
- Implement CRM system on Salesforce and integrate with SQL Server.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Intermediate to Expert skills implementing applications and CRM on Salesforce.com
- Experience with some form of an ETL tool with Salesforce.com
- End-to-end understanding of OOP
- SQL Server or other relational database experience
- 5 years professional experience in a team software development environment
- Experience developing use cases and modeling requirements using a formal technique such as UML or RUP.
Bonus Qualifications
- Experience developing highly secure web applications in the healthcare or finance industry
- Agile (scrum) software development, continuous integration, source control methodologies
- Business consulting experience
