About the Flex UI Engineer position:
We are looking for a creative, self-motivated Flex UI Engineer to join our growing team. You will work with professionals who are dedicated to building products that doctors and health practitioners love. Apply your technical expertise to build and ship software used daily to manage over 65,000 patient visits.
As a Flex UI engineer, you will be responsible for translating requirements into new features that will be deployed with quality, scalability and maintainability. You will be working on a game changing product, helping to fortify it, create new features for it, and help to steward the product as the company grows. About you:
- Experience on a team of 5+ engineers
- Experience in an Agile/Scrum environment that ships often and iterates continuously
- Serious attention to detail working against light requirements
- Unit testing should be a major part of your engineering instincts
- Experience working in a fast-paced, demanding environment (preferably at a startup)
3+ years of experience with the following:
- Flex / Action Script 3 (Delphi or C# WinForms experience could be substituted here)
- Hands-on implementation of Object-Oriented Programming
- Strong knowledge of usability/workflow principles and techniques
- Wireframing new features/workflows
- Working in a SCRUM environment
It’d be bonus if you also have experience with:
- SOAP UI
- Interaction/click-minimization best practices
- SQL Server – executing scripts and basic SQL skills
- Healthcare industry application development
- Java or Flex builds with ANT
- MVC
- SOAP / REST Web Service integration with Flex
- Mobile experience: Blackberry / Droid / Windows Mobile / iOS
- Test-Driven Development
- Localization
