Practice Fusion is looking for an exceptionally talented, energetic and motivated software engineering lead to build and lead a fast-growing development team. You’ll be managing the team directly responsible for developing Practice Fusion’s core product. Your contribution to this disruptive technology can improve healthcare for millions of people.
Practice Fusion builds software for Electronic Medical Records (EMR). We distinguish ourselves from the competition by delivering a product that is free, web-based, easily adopted, reliable and secure. Practice Fusion is the fastest growing EMR community in the country, with more than 100,000 users serving 16 million patients. The company closed a $23 million Series B round of financing led by Founders Fund in April 2011 and expects to more than double in size by the end of 2011. We are located in the heart of SOMA in San Francisco.
Responsibilities
- Build and nurture a cohesive and powerful team of rockstar software engineers
- Deliver high-quality, scalable applications and tools for customers
- Collaborate with Product Management to define project scope, priorities, and timelines
- Communicate status of projects to non-engineers
- Contribute to and help expand a fun, execution-oriented company culture
Required Qualifications
- C#, .Net, ASP.Net, MVC.Net, SOAP, XML, Flex, T-SQL, DB Design, HL7, HTML, Javascript
- Led a successful development team
- Developed hosted and web-based software applications
- Worked in a scrum/agile environment
- Strong process/project management skills
- Start-up experience preferred
