Senior SQL Server DBA
Job Description

Responsibilities
- 32/64/128 core OLTP databases in a clustered, 24X7X365 environment
- Replicated, load-balanced read-only DB nodes
- DB Disaster recovery, site-site redundancy, and backups
- Databases in development environments
- Managing MySQL backups and migrations
- Design/tuning of fiber attached disk arrays
- Spindle, RAID, and file layouts
- Deployment planning and execution of database upgrades
Qualifications
- Experience building, configuring, scaling, and maintaining SQL Server
- Experience working in a fast-paced, demanding environment (preferably at a startup)
- 2+ years of experience with everything listed in the “What you’ll be doing” section above in a mission critical, highly available environment
- Deep knowledge of Windows Server 2003 or 2008.
