Can superbills be generated before the patient's visit?

Hi Mejille,

The Superbill is intended to be an aid for you to provide to your billing service. The Superbill is designed to be generated after the patient is seen, as it contains the CPT and ICD-9 codes associated with that visit. We recommend creating the bill after the patient's visit; this way, you can avoid having to create multiple bills for the same visit if you need to add additional CPT and ICD-9 codes after the patient is seen.
