Maintenance medications report...

We need to be able to see and print a list of all prescriptions for maintenance medications written over the last few years, for practice and legal reasons. This is especially the case for Schedule II medications for ADHD.

WE most definitely agree as our office manages over 200 chronic pain patients & many are on narcotic medications. Other than having to call the pharmacy every time to get a med history sent to our office, we too would like to have this availability for our practice as its becoming a National hot bed of prescribing certain medications & even though we have other measures in place, the legality of it all is very real & frightening just the same.

Occasionally, we need to print the RX history for a patient. If you pull up a chart & access the "Rx List", you might see the 5 most recent scripts and a notation "plus 4 others". You can print that page, but it will show only the 5 most recent or whatever. You can go to Reports, Medication Reports, and print a report on a specific medication, showing the patient in question plus the other 99 patients on that medication. If there were a way to print the full medication report for a specific patient for a specific medication, it would be helpful, as tlucas noted, and it can be a legal issue.
