Change messaging to avoid inadvertent deletion...
Messaging to multiple people in my practice is problematic. If one person files the message ("cleans up their inbox") it is removed from all intended recipients inbox. This is bad design and seems like you could improve functionality by clicking on the file message button it would only removes it from the individual inbox. This would more accurately mimic email which is a familiar model. I've told my staff about how messaging currently works, but I think this simple change would be a great improvement to the messaging system.
Thanks

Thank you for your Feature Request! Your suggestion for an update to the Messages feature has been reviewed by our team and will be considered for future releases of the EHR.Other users interested in this feature should post their comments here. However, it is worth mentioning that a message cannot be deleted from the system, so a message is never truly lost. Any message that has been filed can be found in the ‘Filed messages’ tab or the "Patient Dashboard" in the patient's chart, under their individual ‘Messages’ tab.
This particular request is on the road-map for development in the future. For information about how feature requests are implemented and prioritized, please see the link below.
On other thing to Staff Kelsey- thanks for the response but looking for a filed message when you didn't know it existed is not a good design.
Any status on this update? Let me reiterate how detrimental this is and how much of a liability it is to my office. This must be corrected ASAP. It's still happenening and the first complaint was almost a quarter ago. What else is needed to escalate this issue?
I didn't know this was happening. So, if something is sent to me just as an FYI and I file it, the recepient that is supposed to do some action on the email request won't know it even exists unless she/he just happens to look at old mail. Please update this as soon as possible.
