Add filters to the Recent Activity list...
Unfortunately, the "recent activity" feature (both in a patient's chart and for the practice as a whole) is actually quite tedious to use, since it shows ALL activity from EVERYONE in the practice for that patient with no way of filtering or searching. So, finding a specific entry is very time-consuming and error-prone, since we have to manually scroll down the list (refreshing as necessary) and hope we don't miss the thing we're looking for in the wall of text. I would request that this feature be more user-friendly so we can easily find out who did what.
The best way of doing this is to display the name (or initials) of the person to last edit a certain element right next to that element. For example, in the Diagnosis list, it would show the name of the person who last added or edited each diagnosis somewhere in the entry for that diagnosis. This name would also be a link, so that if you clicked it, it would open up a new window which would show all the activity for that diagnosis, who performed each action, and when. Similarly, if I were to look at a chart note, it would have a name or initials next to the Vitals of the person who last changed them, and next to each section (S, O, A, P, and Finalization) would be the name or initials of the person who last edited that. Again, these would also be links to show the activity history for that particular element.
Another (less useful) way to do this is to have an activity link for each section of the chart which only shows activity related to that section. For instance, if I was in the Diagnosis List, the activity button would show who added or changed diagnoses and when. Similarly, if I was in the chart note, the activity button would show who edited the note (including vitals) and when. Although I personally would prefer the first method, this would at least make it a bit easier to seen what's been going on in various sections of the patient's chart.
In the same way, we need to be able to filter the Recent Practice Activity by things like date, user, and type (such as adding patients, editing appointments, etc). Simply dumping all the activity in one huge list is not the way to do this sort of thing.

Thank you for your Feature Request! Your request has been reviewed by our team and will be considered for future releases of the EHR. Other users interested in this feature should post their comments here. This allows our team to gauge the demand and popularity of each feature request.its very important to see user activity per chart. It is hard to tract down the staff who is responsible for scheduling the patient, or the tech or RN who was responsible for screening the pt. There should be easy tracking of patient flow per visit from the time of check in until end of visit. It may be a good idea to have activity report per patient in the side of patient chart under the event or PMH.
