How can I combine guarantor and patient charts?...
I entered the patient (17 yrs) has Ahcccs. I entered Mothers information. I think I made her inactive since she isn't a patient. How do I connect the child and the Mother into one acct?
Practice Fusion expert answer:
The two will remain as separate charts. However, to associate the two, you would enter the 'Insurance' section of the child's chart and click 'New' if there are no insurance entries.In the 'Relationship to Insured' field choose 'Child' then click on the 'Guarantor' box. Search for the mother and ensure 'show inactive patients' is selected below 'Patient record number'. If you're unable to locate the mother, please follow these steps linked below.
