Insurance information is incomplete...
(for better or for worse) we have about 25 Aetna address we bill to and PF has about 8...and none of them match any of ours. same with United Health Care, etc. The 8 I'm referring to come from the setup/payer list/add listing. How can our lists be so different?
Practice Fusion expert answer:
Hi blinky,While you may integrate your Kareo and Practice Fusion accounts, we remain as separate applications with separate Support teams. If you decide to use Kareo and integrate your two accounts, you are always welcome to contact Practice Fusion Support with any issues that arise that involve Kareo. We will direct you to contact Kareo Support if the issue is beyond our trouble-shooting capacity and must be resolved by Kareo.
Please visit the thread below for more information about Kareo + Practice Fusion integration:

Practice Fusion expert answer:
Hello,Because Practice Fusion is not a billing system, we do not have a complete list of all payers. You are able to add custom payers to the Payer List. Here is a link to the thread that discusses how to add custom payers: http://www.practicefusion.com/emr-forum/CommentIndex.EHR/4365
Please note that when adding custom payers in Practice Fusion, you cannot include a code or address. In Practice Fusion, payers are simply "names" that you can enter into the patient's record for your internal reference. Any additional detail or information needed for the payer info will need to be accounted for in your external Billing system.
I would love to see a response to stldoc's comment above. His issue has me quite worried about using PF and Kareo together. Why would you promote Kareo so heavily if they don't officially support your product?
We were excited to see the conduit between PF and Kareo and based on this chose to go with Kareo as our billing software. This has become an issue, as much of the info transmitted from PF varies from Kareo, and when the biller calls the help line for Kareo after unacceptable wait time up to 1 hr they are told they do not support PF even though they are being paid support fees on a monthly service.($499 per month for a two physician practice). Stop promoting Kareo as your partner or provide us with better customer service. I have personally directed 15 MDs to PF.
