Health Innovation Week 2011- San Francisco

Phew! What a week it has been and it’s only the start of many conferences and networking events to come. Here at Practice Fusion, we’ve been packing up our conference gear and scwhag and throwing on our PF jerseys as we prepare for Qb3, DC2VC, The Disposable Film Festival/Create-a-thon, Start-up Showcase, and Health 2.0 (Sept. 26-28).

Today, a few of us will escape the city fog and head south to hopefully sunny Mountain View, to join venture capitalists and investors for the HIT Start-up showcase-a nationwide contest to find the best and the brightest start-up ideas in health IT. Today, the top 10 finalists will present their healthcare-changing ideas to over 200 entrepreneurs and investors. Our very own CEO Ryan Howard, will close out the event with his presentaiton, “From One Entrepreneur to Another: Dos and Don’ts for Building a Health IT Company”.

Once we return from Mountain View, its time to join the filmmakers of America for our very first Health film festival with Disposable Film on Saturday, September 24, 2011 at Hotel Rex in San Francisco. The fun doesn’t stop there! Monday and Tuesday you can find us at Health 2.0 with a brand new and improved booth design and tons of fun schwag to giveaway! Find us at booth #33 & #34.

Shea Steinberg is the Associate Social Media Manager at Practice Fusion. She maintains all of Practice Fusion’s social networks and is constantly promoting our EHR in the social media sphere. Also an active member and editor of EHRBloggers, she writes about everything Healthcare IT, while using her sass to make a joke or two along the way.
