Recently at our inaugural user conference, Practice Fusion Connect 2010, we invited the team on stage and I saw on Twitter a tweet saying, “Howard introduces Practice Fusion team (all under 30??) – young, smart and motivated to change medicine – hooray” from @Docweighsin
While we’re not all under 30, we do have a lot of young people at our company who are supported by the senior members.
What does this mean? It means they grew up with web-based technology. It means they’re energetic and enthusiastic about our company mission. It means they believe in change.
All of us at Practice Fusion are well-versed in the mantra of remote storage. We store our photos on Facebook and Flickr, manage our bank accounts online and listen to music on Pandora and Grooveshark.
Health Information Technology (HIT) is a field that requires a fresh point of view. The young employees at Practice Fusion are fully aware that it’s time to move away from mindsets stuck on paper. The technology being used in other industries today is right for healthcare.
Aside from a youthful perspective, a sense of ownership is key. On the ground floor of an emerging industry, Practice Fusion employees are certain that we can improve the current state of healthcare and provide a better user experience than legacy vendors have been able to offer.
The employees at Practice Fusion are, as @Docweighsin noticed, young, smart and motivated to change medicine.
