Electronic EHR Scheduling

It’s a simple concept: schedule an appointment, see the patient and bill for the appointment. It only makes sense for an EHR to include a schedule that is connected to patients’ charts. And yet there are some EHRs — that you have to pay for — that don’t provide this basic functionality.

Practice Fusion includes a schedule that is intuitive and integrated into your EHR. When a patient is checked in or marked as a No Show, a chart note and billing message is automatically created for that patient. Notes left in the calendar populate the chief complaint of the chart note. And customizable features allow any practice to tailor the schedule to their needs.

The idea is that every person in the practice is using the same tool for all of the clinical and administrative tasks. It’s a simple concept but one that some legacy EHR vendors haven’t understood.
