How to Start e-Prescribing

While EHR adoption has, up to this point, been slow for many doctors there is one tool that most are eager to start using: e-prescribing.

Few tools show the benefits of an EHR as immediately as electronic prescriptions. And because nearly all EHRs use the same network, SureScripts, choosing one does not need to be dependent on which pharmacies are connected. Factors that do matter are the cost of e-prescription software, ease of use and interoperability with the EHR.
