But wait! I have good news. If you buy one of those HHS-Certified EHR thangs, you can be as sure as tootin’ it’ll support you all the way to the bank!
Now remember, you have to actually use the thang to qualify.
But you can rest easy tonight, because you know that when you buy an HHS-Certified EHR, you’ll have everything you need.
Still, you got to be careful, doc. Just because your thang is HHS-Certified don’t mean you’re gonna like the way it works, you know what I mean?
You’re going to have to shop around some, kick the tires a bit.
And remember, there’s a lot of clunkers out there, doc! Some EHRs were developed back in the 80s. Some of ‘em got code in ‘em that was written a-way over there in India! Doggone it, we don’t have enough Americans who know how health care works in this country. How the heck are foreigners supposed to figure it out?
So take some time and compare those HHS-Certified EHR thangs, doc. See which one looks good to you. The look and feel tells you a lot. You want it to slide like a sled on snow, to be as nice as a rocking chair on a bayou porch.
And don’t forget to ask about price, doc. We hear there are some great bargains out there. Why, we hear one company’s giving them thangs away. Can you imagine that?
