Marketing Analytics Manager

We are looking for a Marketing Analytics Manager with a passion to drive acquisition, activation and retention through data driven analysis.  As a key player in the Marketing Analytics team, you will partner with cross functional teams including Marketing Communications, Media Relations, Product Marketing, Program Management, and Data Services to lead new initiatives to analyze marketing acquisition, engagement, and retention campaigns across multiple channels. This position rewards the data driven mindset and intellectual curiosity to perform deep dive analyses to uncover trends and patterns that may not be readily apparent.

Description:
  • Support the User Growth and Marketing Communications teams with day-to-day tasks reviewing campaigns, coordinating information, representing email marketing performance analysis in cross-functional teams
  • Develop and manage customer segmentation strategies in coordination with the Growth team
  • Track and report on key metrics across channels, including offline (Direct Mail, Radio) and online (SEM, SEO, Display, Referrals, Email), including actions completed, leads generated, ROI, CTA analysis, and other success metrics 
  • Develop and test methods for optimizing cross channel budgets to maximize Growth team leads
  • Generate ideas for new campaigns and tweaks to existing programs in coordination with the Growth team that will create excitement and engage potential customers based on insights from our Marketing data
  • Analyze the data from A/B and channel  tests to provide insights and recommendations on action items
  • Mentor and train junior team members and actively share information and ideas with team
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Business Administration or related degrees. Master’s degree preferred.
  • 4-6 years working experience in a professional analytical setting, preferably supporting marketing or product teams.
  • Detail oriented, results focused, and excellent project management skills
  • Experience in analyzing key online marketing channels such as email, SEM, SEO, and display
  • Experience in using Google Analytics, Omniture, KISSMetrics, MixPanel or other comparable web analytical tools
  • Experience with statistical software packages such as SAS or STAT or R (R preferred)
  • Experience with data visualization software such as Tableau, Microstrategy, or Cognos
  • Strong knowledge and working proficiency in SQL, Excel, PowerPoint, and relational databases (Advanced SQL and experience with complex databases a plus)
  • Great communication skills and comfort presenting data to upper management and internal customers
  • Self-starter who takes initiative and recognizes the need for urgency
